OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE CITY OF HAYS, TEXAS HONORING DR. A. GAYLE HUDGENS
The City of Hays will honor the memory of Dr. A. Gayle Hudgens, who passed away on November 5, 2024, by lowering the flag at City Hall (520 Country Lane) at half-staff from November 19 to 21, 2024. Among her many notable accomplishments, Dr. Hudgens served the City of Hays and its residents as Place 2 Council Member, and was the beloved wife of Mayor Harvey Davis. We are sad to share the news of the passing of our dear friend and Council member, Dr Gayle Hudgens.
Gayle passed away peacefully today, Tuesday, 11/5/2024, surrounded by her beloved husband, Mayor Harvey Davis and dear son, Hal Watson, III.
